Behind every great man is a great woman. And for all the men who work for the United Nations that means there are all the more great women for the United Nations.

Behind every great man is a great woman. And for all the men who work for the United Nations that means there are all the more great women for the United Nations.

Organized with the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation Inc., Natalya Bythewood Millinery, Dejavu Fashion Group, and Romania’s Ambassador to the U.N. Simona Miculescu hosted a hat party on the evening of May 21 to celebrate U.N. wives and all the work they put in behind the scenes.

For entertainment, Miculescu personally sang a song for the wives. It was a delightful, charming evening filled with elaborate Ascot hats decked with feathers galore, all hand crafted by designer Natalya Bythewood Millinery.

The event included live music, models showcasing the hats, and paintings by Yin-Chu Jou.
