Harrison County, Indiana, Police Searching for Suspects After Shooting Leaves 2 Wounded

Police are searching for two shooting suspects in Palmyra, Indiana.

Two people were shot on Wednesday in Harrison County. The victims, a husband and wife, were rushed to the hospital.

The shooting happened at the victims’ home on Huff Street Northeast, near Avery Street Northeast, reported WDRB.

The couple was married last week.

The suspects fled the scene. They are Travis Fentress, 33, and Tara Vanwinkle, 31. Fentress has shaved his head since the picture provided by authorities was taken, according to WHAS.

While one of the victims has serious injuries, the other was conscious and able to provide critical information to police about what happened.

Officers are canvassing the neighborhood, but nearby schools are not on lockdown.
