Hannah Upp, 28, was found in Montgomery County, Maryland after she had gone missing earlier in the week.

Upp was located in Wheaton in the area of Georgia Avenue and Shorefield Road, said Montgomery County officials.

She contacted her family around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday and later met up with them. She went missing around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Detectives have spoken with her and will continue the investigation later. Upp was unharmed.

Upp suffers from a rare form of amnesia called dissociative fugue, which causes her to forget her identity, similar to Jason Bourne in the books created by Robert Ludlum.
