A man reportedly beat a woman with a piece of metal before taking off his pants and underwear at a store in Mississippi, according to local media.
The incident, which appears to be a random attack, happened at a Target in Horn Lake, Mississippi, on Friday at about 1:30 p.m., according to Fox 13.
As soon as it began, everyone was told to evacuate the store.
Rhea Abbott saw a part of the attack, and while everyone was evacuating, she stayed behind and was able to pull the man off the woman.
“There is nothing else I would’ve done,” Abbott told Fox 13. “She locked eyes and she held out her hand and said help me. I don’t know anyone else. It breaks my heart.”
