When it’s time to renovate a room, it’s tempting to dive straight into moving furniture and painting walls. But before you embark on a project, it’s important to do some prep work first. Preparations can make the job much easier, and can save you from a tremendous amount of hassle.
Apps can be great tools for interior design, helping to make the work easier, and more fun. Whether you’re thinking about remodeling, or looking for inspiration to redecorate a room, here are three home design apps that you may want to consider. Get your design projects off to a great start!
Photo Measure Lite
With Photo Measure Lite, you can take a photo of your room then add in the dimensions of the room, as well as the measurements for furniture, windows, appliances, and more. This is a handy tool to have when you’re out shopping for rugs, curtains, or other design features for a space, never be caught without your room’s dimensions again. Available for Apple and Android devices.
Colorschemer
Colorschemer is a tool that lets you create your own color palettes based on a photo that you’ve taken. This app also lets you share your pallets with others, or browse through other member’s color palettes to get ideas. To design your palettes, tap on the color wheel and explore different colors. Available for Apple devices.
Homestyler Interior Design
Homestyler Interior Design is a fun app that allows you to virtually design –or redesign, a room using products that you’ve found online. A great way to see if that lamp that looks good in the store will be just as at home in your living room. Available for Apple devices.
