The Dragic brothers, Zoran and Goran, are two of the best players on the Slovenia national team, which is preparing for the FIBA World Cup.

Goran Dragic is the starting point guard for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA, averaging 20.3 points, 5.9 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game in 35.1 minutes.

He’s been in the NBA for seven seasons.

Zoran currently plays for Spanish league team Unicaja Malaga.

A report from Euro Hoops earlier this year said that a lot of NBA teams follow Zoran and have thought about signing him, but the Houston Rockets had emerged as front runners.

“We don’t expect the situation to resolve easily, as Dragic doesn’t want just to travel overseas, but to be a significant member in team which will sign him,” it said in the May report.

“At this point he’s concentrated in the playoffs of the Spanish league and after the end of the season he ‘ll go undergo a hernia surgery. He’ll be out of action for about one month and then ‘ll take part in the preparation of Slovenia for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. So he’ll not risk playing in the summer league like he did in the past.”

Slovenia is in Group D  with Mexico, Lithuania, Korea, Australia, and Angola.
