Google Play is gaining ground on the Apple App Store, according to app analytics company Distimo.

In June, Apple had 70 percent of the market share, and Google Play had 30 percent.

Both companies have had sales increase since then, but Google Play’s have increased more.

In November, Apple had 63 percent of the market, versus Google Play’s 37 percent.

The estimated global revenue for the top 200 grossing apps for each has also shifted.

Apple earned around $15 million in November 2012, and Google Play earned $3.5 million.

As of November 2013, Apple was earning over $18 million, versus Google Play’s $12 million.

The two markets are basically divided between users of Apple products and Android users. However, Google Play may have broader appeal with its ease of access on PCs.
