UPDATE: Google said that the outage is over.

Google search and some of the company’s other services were down for some users on Wednesday, it was reported. Other users said their Gmail accounts were down.

CNN reported that services were down starting at 9:30 a.m. EST and many complained on Twitter.

“My only #Bing search, ever: ”why is Google down“. How am I suppose to work when I can’t find other people’s solutions to my problems?” wrote user Erik Simpson.

“Without your Google, you are helpless humanity! Bwah, ha, ha!” another user, Brian Bandell, wrote.

Twitter user “Blur“ added that ”an hour into a major google outage, you‘d expect the apps status page to say something other than ’everything’s totally fine!'”

Google has not released a statement about the issue, CNN noted. Services that were down included Gmail, Google Plus, Google Drive, YouTube.

Outages appeared to be common across the southeastern United States.

The website DownForEveryoneOrJustMe also confirmed Google services were down.
