Gmail was reported down by some people on Wednesday morning. Many of the reports were from users in Brazil and Argentina.
A number of people took to Twitter and other social media sites, complaining that the Google e-mail service was out.
The large majority of users who said it was down were in South America.
“@gmail Down in South America again........” wrote one.
Another wrote: “Gmail servers down in Brazil!”s
