Global Q&A, “What has your government achieved this year?”

Erion Kapaj, 26, Teacher and Painter, Athens, Greece: Despite the people’s general disappointment, they [our government] have dealt well with foreign affairs around the maritime border—[Exclusive Eco Zone] regarding mineral wealth. For the citizens, they haven’t done anything, and they also did not give permission to painters, now on holidays, to make street portraits.

Some government achievements appreciated across the globe in 2013 were economic growth, public health care provisions, and affordable housing. Some negative outcomes include chaos, conflict, and high unemployment. This is what Epoch Times reporters from the United States to Argentina discovered when they asked locals,
