Global Q&A, ‘How have the recent attacks in America been covered in your country, if at all?’

This is because the Brazilian nation has been chosen as the headquarters for the World Cup Selections in 2014. President Dilma, aware that the firearm is the main vector of violence, showed great concern, and asked Congress for institutional changes to enhance disarmament, and control over weapons and ammunition. The Brazilian president also requested more involvement by the Ministry of Defense, the federal police, and the National Public Safety.
