From feelings of déjà vu, to haunted house scares, to a dead mother visiting her daughter in her dreams, these are some of the unexplained phenomenon people have experienced. This is what the Epoch Times reporters from Sweden to Peru discovered when they asked locals: “Have you, or your relatives, or friends ever come across a phenomenon that you could not rationally explain?”

I usually see people who have died. They come to me in my dreams, and talk to me. My mother died a year ago. I have talked to her many times in my dreams. We Chinese people usually put up an altar for seven days for those who have died. My mother came to me in a dream and told me to remove the altar ... My son is studying to become a doctor; he says it may be something wrong in my brain, while the monk says I’m special. It is inexplicable.

I believe that there are such things, but as far as myself, I have not experienced anything too paranormal. I have had the feeling of déjà vu, and when something has happened to me I have sensed that I had already been in that place, or experienced that thing in the past. I have an aunt who is 65 and she says when she sleeps, she feels someone is tapping her, trying to wake her up, but she is not afraid or anything.

One night, I woke up scared because of a sharp pain in my heart. A few minutes later, I received a phone call telling me that my father had died. When I got to my parents house, my sister and mother told me that they were called to the door a bunch of times, but no one was there. The funny thing was that the male nurse who was taking care of my father asked why we were constantly going to the door since he never heard any chimes. Only they heard it.

Yes, my mum came across strange phenomena when she was a girl. It happened several times in her grandparents’ house. One night she saw a cloudish shape moving to and fro outside, and in the morning her grandfather saw the axe had been removed from its place. ... Another incident, she clearly heard the noise of footsteps in bare feet but she saw no one. Both times she was terrified. She just kept praying in her mind. People said that the house of her grandparents was built on a place where a man was murdered.

My husband has. When he was in the shower, he saw a girl in the mirror. Her face was like a skeleton. That creeped me out. One night when he was sleeping, a succubus [female demon] came and was trying to attack him. He sees these things, I don’t. He has some sort of connection to the supernatural, though he doesn’t see these things that often.

Yes, I lived an experience that didn’t have an explanation. One day I was in my bedroom, and suddenly a golden light appeared. I didn’t want to see it so I turned around, but after a while I saw that the light was still there, so I began to pray. I thought that it was related to aliens, and then I went to sleep. The next day the light was no longer there.

I believe in God, and I believe that God is not separate to humans, or the planet that God is everything within the universe. And I 100 percent believe it, but could not rationally explain it. I guess you could say I have strong feelings of love for something that I recognize as God so I don’t know where these feeling come from. And I am fortunate enough to be pointed in that direction. I believe that all the prophets of all of the major religions were God—and the one God.

Yes, I have had a profound disappointment. A project that was made with a lot of effort and which was going very well—from one moment to the next, crumbled and destabilized at a financial level. It makes no sense that something that one is constructing with so much effort, from one moment to another, destroyed itself. Like if its different energies are joined there, and block the job from having the results one had hoped for.
