Global Q&A, ‘Do you try to shield your children from the bad things in this world or try to find ways to explain them?’

If you just shield them and don’t explain, the tendency is that they will have this question on their mind, and they will try to find an answer. Parents work hard to balance informing their children about the good and the bad in this world, in preparation for life experiences. This is what Epoch Times reporters from United Arab Emirates to Greece discovered when they asked locals,

“Do you try to shield your children from the bad things in this world or try to find ways to explain them?”
