Volunteer work can be highly regarded and well supported, and elsewhere can lack recognition, and much needed support with the result of fewer volunteers. This is what Epoch Times reporters from countries like Argentina and Spain discovered when they asked locals,

“Is volunteer work valued in your country or seen as less serious?”
