Supermodel Gisele Bundchen says she is enjoying motherhood since the birth of her son Benjamin nine months ago.

“I love being a mother,” the Brazilian model and wife of American football star Tom Brady told the New York Post. “My son is so beautiful, I love him so much.”

But being a mother is not always an easy job, and can be challenging yet rewarding, she explained.

“It is different when everything is not about you and your life-now there is someone much more important,“ she said ”It takes some adjusting ... But it is so, so wonderful.”

The 30-year-old suggested that all women should make careful decisions before becoming mothers.

“You have got to make sure you’ve got a great man. You can’t settle for less ... someone you love, and someone who has the same beliefs.”

As Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Ms. Bundchen remained in New York at the end of September for social-environmental activities.

The actress also took part in the VIII Brazil Foundation Annual Benefit Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sept. 23 in New York, her official website stated.

One of the highest paid models worldwide, Ms. Bundchen has appeared on numerous magazine covers, in fashion shows and recently in films, in both North America and abroad.

She was named the “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” by Rolling Stone, according to the The Fashion Model Directory.
