“Game of Thrones” will again return Sunday for Season 4 Episode 9.

An extended trailer was released for the upcoming episode on HBO, which is titled “The Watchers on the Wall.”

The 51-minute episode is the second-to-last one for Season 4. The finale will come June 15.

“Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch face a big challenge,” the episode description reads.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Game of Thrones” viewership is nearing the HBO record that was set by “The Sopranos” in 2002. It’s also close to “The Walking Dead” in popularity.

“The fourth season of the pay cable net’s crown jewel is currently averaging 18 million gross weekly viewers -- that figure, courtesy of HBO, includes first-runs, encores, HBO GO and On Demand views -- more than doubling its already formidable Sunday outings that have been holding steady around 7.2 million viewers for the past month,” THR.com writes in its report.

Last Sunday’s episode included a notable death.

Oberyn Martell, played by Pascal Pedro, was killed by The Mountain, who crushed his skull in a battle.

Pedro talked about his character and training for the scene.

“They put me in training with this guy Master Hu in L.A., actually, a few weeks before I flew out to set,” Pascal told the Vulture website. “He’s a master of Wushu, which is an acrobatic martial art. We used these really long bamboo sticks, and he started teaching me the basics, the possibilities of moves in a fight, stuff like that, and it’s a lot of twisting of the body while propelling a spear around.”

“And I'd go to practice on my own. I bought a curtain rod from Home Depot, and I had this empty apartment, because I just got this lease on a new apartment in Los Angeles... So I had all this space to learn this one particular move of helicoptering the spear and getting it to make this whooshing noise,” the Chilean-born actor added. “So I practiced that in the empty apartment and whacked myself in the face quite a bit.”
