[Spoilers]

The upcoming Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 2 (Episode 32) titled “The Lion and the Rose” debuts on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 9 p.m. on HBO.

According to the official HBO statement, King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) will host a breakfast. The preview of the episode reveals that the two wed shortly after.

Referred to by fans as the “Purple Wedding,” the marriage will be short lived as, according to the book the story is based upon, Joffrey gets poisoned soon after. But it remains unclear whether the actual episode will stick closely to the plot of the book.

In the novels by George R.R. Martin “A Song of Ice and Fire,” which the series is based on, Cersei (Lena Headey) will try to persuade Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to kill Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) thinking that Tyrion killed Joffrey, reported the International Business Times.

Jaime, however, wants to learn more about the situation, and Tyrion will lend Jaime a hand in a matter.

Back at Dragonstone, Stannis (Stephen Dillane) will lose patience with Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) will find a purpose for his pet. North of the Wall, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) sees where they must go.

The show can also be viewed on HBO2 on April 14 (9:00 p.m.), 18 (3:30 a.m.), and 20 (4:45 p.m., 8:00 p.m.).
