Part of an “ExperTalk” series hosted by the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, this is a great way to learn about local geology, history, and ecology, while also learning about current-day issues relating to environmental conservation and other related fields.

McGuire, who has responded to over 60 spills involving oiled avian and mammal species over the years, will be discussing the history of the center, what they do, and how they became a focal point for the rehabilitation of oiled wildlife. In addition, she will discuss what goes into caring for wildlife and the power the community has in aiding and protecting it.
