“Friends” reunion: Social media sites have been abuzz amid reports that the original six members of “Friends” will get back together for a reunion.

Originally, there was a report from Starmedia.us about the potential reunion, saying that “NBC network reportedly confirmed they will launch a new season of Friends on 2014.” The report, published last week, got more than 300,000 “likes” on Facebook.

“It was supposed to be about their story in a comeback reunion,” the report said.

However, according to The Huffington post, which cited a Warner Bros executive, there will be no reunion for “Friends.”

“There is zero truth to this rumor,” Matthew Perry, who played Chandler, said via Twitter last year. Other executives late year also shot down any prospect of a “Friends” reboot.

But there will be a reunion between “Friends” cast members Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe, and Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey, on Kudrow’s show “Web Therapy,” according to E! Online.

“He plays a gambler and she becomes one, too,” “Web Therapy” creator and actor Dan Bucatinsky told the website this week. “That’s how good of a therapist she is. She helps him with addiction by becoming a gambler, too. It’s awesome.”

Former “Friends” stars Courtney Cox and David Schwimmer have also made guest appearances on the show.
