Free Wi-Fi will be available on flights on AirTran, Delta, and Virgin America this holiday season, thanks to Google.

The offer will be valid for all domestic flights on the three airlines from before Thanksgiving to after New Year’s, Google said in a Monday blog post.

“For this holiday season, we’ve teamed up with AirTran, Delta and Virgin America to offer free Gogo Inflight Wi-Fi on every domestic flight from November 20, 2010 through January 2, 2011,” Google stated.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based search engine and tech company offered free Wi-Fi on Virgin America flights during the holiday season, and said it has decided to expand the program, intended to promote Google’s browser Chrome.
