Freddie Mitchell, or “Fred-Ex,” the former Philadelphia Eagles wide-receiver, was sentenced to 37 months in prison for tax crimes.

TMZ reported that Mitchell was sentenced on Tuesday afternoon.

He previously pleaded guilty for being involved in a tax fraud scheme that bilked the government out of millions.

Mitchell was facing as many as 10 years in prison, but he made a deal with the prosecutors.
