Four people have been charged with child stealing after allegedly taking a two-year-old boy from a home at Beenleigh in Brisbane’s south.

It is alleged the four broke into a home in Chasley Court late on the night of Oct 8, where a 27-year-old woman was assaulted before the boy was removed.

He was found safe and well on Friday afternoon.

Two women aged 23 and 26 and two men aged 23 and 39 were charged with a range of offences including child stealing, entering with intent and assault.

Two of the four appeared in court on Friday and were remanded in custody to appear again on Monday.

The other two will appear in court on Saturday.
