The Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and other crews are responding to Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport on Tuesday to help people who are having trouble breathing.

The 10 or more people are having trouble breathing from an unknown substance, reported NBC

WSVN-TV reported that officials believe the substance is pepper spray. NBC then reported that a keychain pepper spray possibly went off.

One person has been taken to Broward Health Medical Center.

The airport is three miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale and near Hollywood.

Story developing; check back for updates.
