A waterspout in Destin, Florida, was apparently captured on camera Friday.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee posted a photo of the waterspout on its Twitter feed.
It said the phenomenon appeared on the Sandestin Beach camera.
Earlier this week, a lifeguard in Seagrove Beach, Fla., saved a family from a waterspout.
“We see them (waterspouts) all the time, but I’ve never seen anything that close,” he told NWFDailynews.com on Tuesday morning. “I could see towels and boogie boards on top of the (waterspout).”
