A socialite connected to the Rockefeller family has been arrested for allegedly crashing her car while drunk on New Year’s Eve in Florida.

Tiki Vashti Podray, 41, crashed into a white Honda Accord on Florida’s Turnpike on Sunday, Dec. 31, police say.

She then drove off in her Maserati, according to police, breaking down around a mile away.

An arrest report obtained by the Palm Beach Post says Podray’s eyes were bloodshot and she slurred her words. Her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit, according to the report.

Her passenger was Richard L. Rockefeller, who is a member of the Rockefeller philanthropic family. He goes by the name Rick Rockefeller-Silvia and is a model who often posts photos to Instagram.

Richard Rockefeller, 33, told police that the other driver had threatened to shoot him in the neck with what he thought was a gun. It turned out to be a cellphone, the report said.

He declined to press charges against the other driver.

Rockefeller’s mother is the great-great-granddaughter of famed billionaire oil entrepreneur John D. Rockefeller.

According to the Daily Mail, on New Year’s Eve, he posted a photo to Instagram of Podray and himself at the International Polo Club Palm Beach, 11 miles from where the crash happened. His Instagram account has since been made private.

Podray was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash.

She was released from the Palm Beach County Jail the next day.
