Flag Day Honoured

Prime Minister Stephen Harper presents a flag from the Peace Tower to Pierre Lavoie, president and founder of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, in honour of National Flag of Canada Day on Wednesday. This year marks 47 years since the red and white maple leaf flag was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill.
