First Superbowl Commercial Is Out, and It’s From Lexus

In just over two weeks, two NFL teams will face off for the most watched televised event of the year, the Superbowl.

With so many eyes glued to the tube, companies are paying networks like NBC over $4 million for 30 seconds of advertisement airtime.

Lexus has released its commercial that will get a piece of the coveted airtime.

The ad is only 30 seconds long and seems more like a music video or a modern art piece. With a driving drumbeat and slow motion shots of girls flinging their wet hair backwards, the announcer introduces the new turbo-charged hybrid vehicle and instructs the viewer to “make some noise”.
