Finding Carter returns to MTV on Tuesday with an all-new episode that features some new trouble for Carter.

She walks into a hallway at school to find that Bird has plastered copies of a controversial portrait that Carter painted of her for the art fair.

“Bird I thought you were my friend?” Carter exclaims when Bird appears.

“I thought you were mine?” Bird says.

Carter starts ripping down some of the copies, prompting Bird to start shoving her, in a sneak peek. They’re broken up, with Bird saying that she can explain her motives.

Elsewhere in the episode, Max decides to leave, and Carter and Gabe kiss.

Also, Lori returns with a plan. Milena Govich, who plays Lori, told Zap2It that her character will be in the show more and more.

“The more time that Carter spends with her new family, the more she’s starting to learn about all the things that she missed had she grown up in that household,” Govich said.

“But then also you start to question the things that she always knew growing up with Lori. Carter does start to have some realizations and she grows as a character and it’s really interesting to see if she decides to leave or stay.”

“You’re definitely going to start seeing a different side of Lori as the season goes on because the longer that she’s been in hiding the more desperate she starts to get as far as wanting to get her child back and wanting to contact her child,” Govich added. “You can imagine as a parent or any loved one, if someone’s been taken from you, what would you do to get that person back? What would you risk? Lori is definitely going to take some major risks coming up to try and reunite with Carter.”
