Sixteen years since its first release, the Final Fantasy game with the highest Metacritic score is finally available on Steam.
“Final Fantasy IX,” which has sold over 5 million copies since its 2000 release, will now sell thousands more. The game was released on the Valve platform with new features. Among others, FFIX has Steam Achievements, Steam trading cards, seven game boosters, autosave, and high-definition movies and character models.
A mobile version of “Final Fantasy IX” was recently released for Android and iPhone users. The fantasy classic is available here for 20 percent off—that’s $16.79—until April 20, when it will return to $20.99.
