The “Fifty Shades of Grey” book trilogy is reportedly being condensed into one film instead of three separate ones.

The EFE news agency reported that the movie’s production team decided to shoot scenes in Miami last week after they canceled filming in Vancouver, Canada.

The news agency said that film stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will shoot for two weeks in Miami.

“The downtown Miami skyline looks a lot like downtown Vancouver,” a production company representative was quoted as saying.

The movie’s director, Sam Taylor Johnson, will film a number of exterior scenes in Miami.

The actors will travel to Tenerife, Spain, in February to shoot the film’s “honeymoon scenes.” The two characters in the series don’t get married until the last book, “Fifty Shades Freed.”

It was reported that U.K. glamour model Keeley Hazell said she tried to audition for the film.

“I auditioned twice for ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’, that was a pretty, erm, ‘interesting’ experience,” she said.

And Mark Wahlberg, the actor, said recently that he’s unhappy that his production company wasn’t able to secure the rights to the film. He was in a “bidding war” with Universal Pictures and Focus Features.

“We had the early beat on it [the book] and we were close to getting it but it didn’t happen,” he told Jay Leno on the “Tonight Show” this week.

He added: “We were in contact through our agency with the writer. Then she got another agent and they realised what a valuable property it was, created a bidding war and it just blew us out of it. ”

“Fifty Shades of Grey,” written by E.L. James, has been a best-selling book around the world.

The film is slated for released in February 2015.
