FIFA 15, slated to come out in a few months, got a graphics comparison with Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, or PES 15.

A video was posted to YouTube, showing the two games’ graphics. Some users remarked that FIFA has the “better” graphics of the two.

FIFA 15 will be released Sept. 26, 2014, according to EA. “A version of FIFA 15 will also release on the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Wii, 3DS, PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system this Fall,” an EA spokesperson stated.

The statement adds: “Not all game features are available on all gaming platforms.”

Meanwhile, PES 2015 will be launched sometime in the fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and likely for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

A developer for the Konami-developed game talked about getting rid of microtransactions.

“If you don’t have a lot of time, then with microtransactions you can go buy a lot of players that you want,” Konami studio head James Cox told IGN. “But you also can earn Game Points in the mode and other parts of PES as well. We’re trying to link things together so you can progress and build your team [normally]. The idea is that we’re trying to just give the players the choice of what they want to do. Some people have more time, some people have more money. Some people have a bit of each! Either way, you'll have the choice.”

He elaborated more on the process.

“The general principle is that you will be able to buy the players you want,” he told the website. “The exact final mechanic is all still being tuned, but yes--if you want to buy Ronaldo, one way or another, you will be able to do that. And you will be happy with what you spend your money on.”
