“Feliz Navidad” is a song by Puerto Rican Jose Feliciano, which he penned in 1970.

The song’s title means “Happy Christmas” or “Merry Christmas.”

The chorus, which is “Feliz Navidad, prospero ano y felicidad,” is translated to “Merry Christmas--a prosperous year and happiness,” but many have simplified it to say “I want to wish you a Merry Christmas.”
