Federal Prosecutor Who Probed Election Fraud Allegations Is Resigning

A federal prosecutor who announced before the election that he was probing election fraud allegations in Pennsylvania is now resigning.

David Freed, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, will resign effective midnight on Jan. 1, 2021, his office announced Dec. 29.
