As part of Fire Prevention Month, the New York Fire Department (FDNY) is educating the public about fire safety and fire prevention. Members of the FDNY Safety Education Unit will be holding events throughout all five boroughs. A ceremony will take place at Rockefeller Center on Tuesday from 10 a.m until 2 p.m.

Events began Sunday and will continue until this Saturday, including at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx from 11 a.m until 4 p.m on Tuesday; Metrotech Commons in Brooklyn from 11 a.m until 2 p.m. on Thursday; and the YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities in Queens starting at 12:30 p.m.
