Six firefighters were among the injured in a four-alarm Bronx fire Thursday morning in a residential home. Over a hundred firefighters had responded to the fire.
Officials say 10 civilians were injured, two of whom are children, but none of the injuries are life threatening.
Most of the injured were treated on scene, and some of the injuries were described as minor by the officials. Some were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. and took several hours to get under control.
