ZURICH—Ms. Margrith Roth, manager at the fashion house Burberry, attended the Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s performance at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on March 25.

After watching the performance, Ms. Roth said, “The colors and form of the show are perfection. We don’t see this in our present day society. It is sensational.

“We all have ambitions and are striving for achievement. But, in this show we see smiles, colors and total perfection.”

Ms. Roth spoke of a realization she had from watching the performance. “One should just sit back and enjoy. This show will change one’s day-to-day thoughts. What I understood was that one should slow down instead of constantly charging after something for gain and profit.”

According to the Shen Yun website, “One of the features that strikes audience members most is Shen Yun’s colorful costumes. These hundreds of gorgeous, hand-made garments span China’s dynasties, regions, and ethnic groups. ”I wish I could wear that!“ is a common reaction. Even leading fashion designers leave the show excited with new inspiration.”

Ms. Roth was no exception. She said, “Today we saw many colors that are in harmony with nature. The color combinations of the costumes are rarely seen today. The colors are beautiful and colorful, and yet harmonious. I wouldn’t change a thing.

“I’m certain that much love and manual labor was needed to make these costumes. The total look is luxurious, gorgeous, and I am impressed.”

Ms. Roth felt that the artists were very genuine.

“The dancers walked across the stage with a smile; a smile that was an honest smile. One could feel the inner peace of the artists and that is what touched me very much,” she said.
