Family Brunch Cooking Class

Spend some quality time with your kids while cooking and dining on a delicious homemade breakfast, all under the instruction of a professional chef. This weekend, the guests will be cooking blueberry muffins, vegetable frittatas, parmesan bacon potatoes, and fruit parfaits. Tickets are priced for pairs, and guests must arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.

Parent’s Night Out: Winter Wonderland

Treat your children to a winter wonderland-themed night of fun while you enjoy a night to yourself. Drop your kids off at the venue and hosts take care of the rest. This event features age-appropriate games and activities, a dance party, Nerf war, video games, a pizza party dinner, and much more. This event is known to sell out, and interested guests are encouraged to book their spots early.

Pretend City Lunar New Year

Irvine’s Pretend City Children’s Museum is hosting an annual Lunar New Year party for children of all ages, in honor of the year of the rabbit. Participants will make their own lanterns, learn about East Asian calligraphy, practice their fine motor skills, and much more. There will also be live East Asian-style performances.

Pajama Play Dates

Dress to impress in your most stylish pajamas and get ready to play with local pups at an off-leash local play date party, hosted by a local dog rescue. Dog owners and lovers are encouraged to bring their dogs to the event, which will also include a human palm reader, refreshments, gift bags, raffles, and more.

Scavenger Hunt

Bring the family together for a scavenger hunt with a modern twist, whereby participants will use their smartphones to follow along for a virtual scavenger hunt as they fill their “scavenger sack” with items through riddle-like clues. Participants will get to explore their surroundings while quickly locating a variety of items revealed one at a time by the game master. Winners will earn a spot in the “It’s a Scavenger Hunt” Hall of Fame.

Kids Storytime

Bring the kids for Children’s Story Hour with a local author at Barnes and Noble in Newport Beach, where they will be reading their latest book available for purchase. This event is open to children of all ages, and the star author will be announced at a later date.
