The Suvivor 2299 website that many believe could be hint at Fallout 4, which hasn’t been officially confirmed, posted new codes on Friday.

It reads: “AK: {REV _____ 5120} [CPS] PASS {LOC BB YEAR LET} - | H EY XHWHD OF GXSIHS EVE, ZFR G‘K ATGEVY ROCL’JM QEOX.GTJX ZSFF QRETYHA HWEUHG WG VKKP HHWE. MCCCZNU SQ UUE VMXECEDCZ. MFE BNMC NEGE QLZCR TP MZ MR YUOG ACBSM. |”

Redditors in the Fallout sub-Reddit deciphered it, and it translates as “I AM SORRY TO INFORM YOU, BUT I‘M AFRAID THEY’RE DEAD. YOUR LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM IS JUST FINE. WELCOME TO THE INSTITUTE. THE ONLY SAFE PLACE TO BE IN THIS WORLD.”

“The Institute” has been mentioned several times in the past, but the context is unclear. It was mentioned several times in the Fallout 3 games. According to the Fallout Wiki, the organization was formerly MIT before the nuclear holocaust and is said to have high technology.

On Thursday, the site had another morse code update that said the “EMERGENCY IS OVER,” adding that “WITHOUT AMMO. SOMETHING ATTACKED CAMP. WE ARE DOOMED, NO WAY OUT, ALL UNITS” are dead.

It is unclear if the Survivor 2299 site is really a teaser for Fallout 4, as Bethesda or ZeniMax have not commented on it or confirmed the existence of a new Fallout game.

This week, it was discovered that there was a hidden portion on the Survivor 2299 site.

Bethesda tweeted on Friday that there would be no Fallout 4 news during the 2013 VGX awards on Saturday.

“Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Take deep breaths,” Pete Hines said on Twitter.

According to Gamespot, the new Fallout is rumored to be set in Massachusetts. The Fallout series has traditionally been set in post-apocalyptic California and Nevada.

Some websites have posited that the Survivor 2299 website could be a hoax. It was launched at around Nov. 15 and had a countdown timer for Dec. 11, featuring a Vault-Tec logo.

An early investigation said that ZeniMax registered the website, but again, the company hasn’t said anything.
