Several months ago, a website called Survivor2299.com duped many into thinking that updates will come out soon about “Fallout 4,” but it turned out to be a hoax.

This week, it was discovered that the website was back up--with different artwork. The original website had morse code and other clues that were later deciphered on Reddit until the creator revealed it wasn’t real.

However, the latest Survivor2299 website doesn’t have anything to do with that--or “Fallout 4” for that matter.

The Survivor 2299 is a mod for “Fallout 3,” said the new website owner on Reddit.

“Don’t worry it’s nothing related to Fallout 4. We’re using it for the mod. Don’t get fooled twice. I didn’t release The Survivor 2299 fan-fiction yet because we’re making this mod, and I don’t want to spoil the fun. Finally we resolved all LOD and Height map bugs in geck so developing is much faster,” said the user, according to AttackoftheFanBoy.com.

Regarding “Fallout 4,” Bethesda said that they won’t be coming out with any details and have not even confirmed if the game is being developed.

According to Kotaku a few months ago, a casting document for an upcoming “Fallout” game was sent to them. There were also reports that the latest game would be set in Boston.
