Facebook Purges Accounts Linked to QAnon for ‘Inauthentic Behavior’

Facebook announced that it deleted a wave of accounts, pages, and groups linked to the QAnon conspiracy theory.

The social media giant said May 5 in its monthly report on “coordinated inauthentic behavior” that the purge was because of violations of rules put in place to curb the use of the platform for disruptive or deceptive purposes.
