You have probably already tried a lot of face products, whether they were drug store or high end products. Here are some of our favorite products that are known to help clear clogged pores.

To have the best skin results, we go by this particular daily routine:

  1. Cleanser
  2. Exfoliate (2-3 days a week)
  3. Toner
  4. Lotion
  5. Mask Pack (2-3 days a week, if necessary)

Regardless of whatever skin type you have, it is extremely important to cleanse, apply toner, and apply lotion daily. If you don’t, your face won’t be cleansed as efficiently and clogged pores can result. Exfoliating is also very important, however it doesn’t have to be a daily process.

Lotions and Mask Packs

You may have thought that lotions and creams do not keep away acne, but in fact it does! After washing the face, the skin can get very dehydrated. Dryness causes the skin to produce more oil, and so the pores can easily clog. If you moisturize, the skin won’t need to hydrate itself. The following are some good hydrators that are good for even sensitive skin.

The Face Shop’s Chia Seed Moisture-Holding Seed Cream

(The Body Shop)

This cream is unlike any cream you have tried. It feels more like a gel than a cream, but with extreme moisture. It won’t clog your pores and doesn’t feel greasy. A reviewer said “Doesn’t even feel like you have it on your face when you apply it, because it is so watery, but still thick enough to be a cream, and it also feels very refreshing.”

Skin Type: All Skin Types

This mask is from a pure, rare ingredient of a rock caused by volcanic eruptions in Jeju Island, Korea. It’s not too harsh on the skin and is ideal for oily skin. A reviewer said “I am very happy with the mask other than the fact that I have to scoop out the clay and it’s unhygienic. This mask gives my face a cooling feeling and doesn’t dry out my skin, nor does it make it feel greasy. I notice improvement on my skin texture”
