“Empress Ki” is one of the most popular Korean dramas of recent times. This historical drama is set in the Yuan Dynasty (1260–1368), richly conveying the history and culture of the Chinese dynasty. This drama series has not only created a stir in Korea, but all over Asia, and is particularly enjoyed and appreciated by Chinese audiences.

“Empress Ki” features Korea’s top versatile actresses Ha Ji-won, veteran actor Joo Jin-mo, and one of the new generation actors Ji Chang-wook who plays the role of Ta Hwan, or the later Emperor Huizong. He is known for his excellent performance in the series.

Here is an exclusive interview with celebrity guest Ji Chang-wook, who is a charming young actor. He is more handsome in real life than on-screen. Ji played the lead role in daily drama series “Smile Again” (2010), followed by historical drama series Warrior Baek Dong-soo (2011), and Empress Ki (2013).
