“Everquest Next:” Landmark Alpha” is slated for a release date sometime within the next 9 days.
The late January launch was confirmed by John Smedly, president of Sony Online Entertainment.
Meanwhile, development of EverQuest David Georgeson said that a 64-bit operating system is required for Alpha.
“Sorry, folks, but the 2GB RAM we can access via 32-bit OS isn’t enough for Alpha,” he said via Twitter.
