Shen Yun Performing Arts is the subject of a new award-winning documentary, “Unbroken: The Untold Story of Shen Yun,” released by NTD’s Sincere Pictures on March 24. The film follows the stories of Shen Yun performers and their families as they contend with a global illicit intimidation and interference campaign linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
“Unbroken” takes an in-depth look at the challenges Shen Yun’s artists face behind the scenes. The documentary pieces together a disturbing picture of targeted interference, while revealing the inner strength, resilience, and faith of the artists who refuse to be silenced by it.
NTD marked the film’s premiere with a red carpet event and discussion panel that featured Shen Yun performers at the AMC Theater at Lincoln Square in New York City.
“Unbroken: The Untold Story of Shen Yun” is available to view for free from March 25 through April 12, 2026.
