Many Eastern European leaders in the past quoted Lenin. European Council President Donald Tusk prefers Lennon.

That would be John Lennon of the Beatles.

The EU and the UK are supposed to start Brexit talks on June 26.

When asked about possible outcomes for Brexit negotiations, Tusk said that the EU was built on impossible dreams. Therefore he could imagine Brexit being reversed.

President Tusk said, “The European Union was built on dreams that seemed impossible to achieve. So, who knows? You may say I’m a dreamer, but I am not the only one.”

Was the EC president really quoting John Lennon’s “Imagine”? Most plainly so.

How bad can the future be, when the world has leaders like this?
