The wife and stepdaughter of Grammy-winning songwriter Brett James have been identified as the other two victims of a small-plane crash that also killed James in North Carolina on Sept. 18.

Authorities confirmed that James’ wife, Melody Carole Wilson, 59, and her daughter, Meryl Maxwell Wilson, 28, were on board the aircraft with James when it went down in a rural area near Franklin, North Carolina. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
