Shia LaBeouf was taken into custody early Tuesday in New Orleans following an alleged confrontation during Mardi Gras festivities in the city’s French Quarter.

The New Orleans Police Department said officers responded shortly before 1 a.m. to reports of a disturbance at a business in the area. Authorities alleged that LaBeouf became increasingly aggressive inside the establishment and was asked to leave by an employee.
