NBC Host Sara Gore Reveals Breast Cancer Diagnosis During Live Broadcast

The longtime TV personality told viewers she will be stepping back from on-air duties to focus on treatment and recovery.

Sara Gore, longtime NBC host of New York’s “Open House” and lifestyle program “New York Live,” has revealed live on-air that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 49-year-old made the announcement during a broadcast of “New York Live” on April 30, telling viewers she will be taking a leave of absence from her duties to focus on treatment and recovery.
