Kim Kardashian shared a surprising health revelation during the season seven premiere of Hulu reality television series “The Kardashians.”

In a teaser clip released on Oct. 23, the 45-year-old is seen going for an MRI scan and later telling family members that doctors found “a little aneurysm.”

Footage from the episode displayed close-up visuals of her scan along with additional clips of Kardashian visibly emotional over her health status.

She said medical professionals pointed to stress as a reason for the aneurysm, before saying, “people think I have the luxury of walking away.”

A cerebral or brain aneurysm occurs when there is a weak or bulging spot on an artery in the brain, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

The ballooning vessel puts pressure on surrounding brain tissue and nerves and can cause a number of health issues, including strokes, brain damage, comas, or, in severe circumstances, death.

Aneurysms are more common in women than in men, with other risk factors being age, family history, and high blood pressure. Stress, however, is not considered a direct cause, though it can contribute to elevated blood pressure.

Kardashian said she has been under increased stress this past year, which includes balancing her co-parenting relationship with ex-husband and rapper Kanye West.

Kardashian divorced West in 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage, but notes that the stress from his continued public comments and controversies has taken a toll on her body.

She said she felt “very tested” by West’s comments, and noted other health conditions have returned.

“I have psoriasis again. I felt it. I felt more stressed probably because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect. My kids are involved now,” she said.

Kardashian shares four children—North, 12; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 6—with West, and further elaborated on the family dynamic during a recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“It’s not easy, but I raise the kids full time,” she told host Alex Cooper on Oct. 15. “They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad, and I think he knows that.”

She continued, “I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it’s time for that. And it goes in waves and phases, and it’s a lot of work. ... It’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him.”
