Films like “The Verdict,'‘ ’‘Kramer vs. Kramer,” ’'Ordinary People” and other small dramas of that ilk seem to be even rarer and rarer in the ever-dwindling slate of studio films. Krasinski feels the absence both as an audience member and an actor.
“People feel defined by those movies,'‘ Krasinski said in a recent interview at a hotel just off the Sunset Strip. ”Imagine if ’The Verdict‘ hadn’t been made or whatever your favourite is!’’
